Home Learning Expectations:

Maths:

Please continue to practice their times tables as this has a great impact on their confidence and fluency in Maths. They could use TTRockstars which all children will have a login for    https://ttrockstars.com/  or quick fire questions on their to or from school.

Below is a link to a website with lots of Maths videos that you can watch to support your child with methods they are learning in Year 6.

Reading:

Children should be reading at home as often as possible. If possible, children should be reading at home for a minimum of 10 minutes every day as this equates to one year of extra progress. Please record when you have read with them and for how long in their reading record book. The children will need to have their reading books plus reading record books with them in school everyday.

Bug Club is still being used to support reading at home and Spelling Shed will be used to support practice with spellings. Weekly spellings are sent home every Friday.
