Year 4- Sycamore

Welcome to Sycamore Class! 

Mr Whitmore is Sycamore's teacher and Ms Eccles and Ms Leighfield will also be supporting with the children's learning, both in class and through extra activities out of classroom.

Drop off is now from 8:50am. The children will enter through the KS2 entrance and go to their classroom. At the end of the day, please collect your child from outside The Hub at 3.30pm. 

Home Learning Expectations

Children should be reading at home as often as possible. The children should record when they have read, independently or with an adult, in their yellow reading records. The children will need to have their reading books plus reading records with them in school everyday. 

Please continue to use TT Rockstars to support the children with their times tables and mathematical learning.

Bug Club is still being used to support Reading at home and Spelling Shed will be used to support practice with spellings. 

PE

Year 4 have PE on a Tuesday and a Thursday. On these days children should arrive at school wearing their PE kit. 

PE kit consists of black shorts or jogging bottoms, a plain t-shirt in their house colour and plimsoles or trainers.   A hoody or sweatshirt can be worn over their tshirt for outdoor sessions in colder months.
