Learning from home

If you are unable to be in school, we have some exciting home learning that you can take part in. This way you'll be able to keep on track with the rest of the class. There are lots of activities below for you to do: as a guide, try doing 1 English activity, 1 maths activity and 1 creative activity a day. We have included a suggested timetable to help you structure your day. There is no expectation to follow this but use it as a guide if it helps.

We'd love to hear how you are getting on - you can send us photos through Class Dojo or email.

'How to' Guides for Online Learning Programmes

Our new topic is called, "Memory Box" please feel to look through the documents attached below. These might be useful talk through with your child and hopefully will give you some  learning ideas at home :)

Science Week

We had an amazing time during science week. We designed our own inventions, made volcanoes, made dinosaur teeth and even dinosaur poo! It was so much fun to get stuck into our science learning and we can't wait to do more!

Dinosaur Planet - home learning and knowledge organiser!

Dinosaur Planet Term 3

Our new topic for Term 3 is Dinosaur Planet. Thank you for supporting our trip to the Bristol Museum to launch our topic and give us such great inspiration for the learning to come.

Thank you for your support in continuing to give children the opportunity to read at home at least five times a week.

Term 3 timetable changes.

Our new PE day is Monday. One mile run will be on Thursdays. Swimming remains on Tuesdays.

Welcome back!

What a summer it has been! We hope you all had a lovely break and are as excited to start the new school year as we are. Your child will come home with a new reading book this week but we are still waiting on our new home school diaries to arrive so they might not be here for another week or so. In regards to reading, we expect EVERY child to read 5 times a week. This could be as little as 4 pages or as much as the whole book. Reading is so crucial for children's development, particularly at this age, and is therefore the most important aspect of home learning.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
