Best foot forward

Parson Street Primary creates joyful experiences and limitless opportunities for the communities we serve with our proactive approach that empowers lifelong learners

Helping Pupils Navigate Every Turn

Parson Street Primary School is committed to the highest standards in protecting and safeguarding the children entrusted to our care.

Our school will support all children by:
  1. Promoting a caring, safe and positive environment within the school
  2. Encouraging self-esteem and self-assertiveness
  3. Effectively tackling bullying and harassment
  4. Promoting all aspects of the Equality Act 2010

With social and friendship issues in and around the school, we take a proactive approach to intervention with our “Learning Gems” which are used to promote and reward the right behaviours.

Where there is poor behaviour we provide the children with plenty of structure within which to manage themselves and start to make the right choices.

For more information about how we help children to manage their behaviour, please click here.

We expect that all staff and visitors to our school will behave in a way which ensures our children are safeguarded at all times. This expectation involves a duty for any safeguarding concerns to be reported.
If you are concerned about the welfare of any child or vulnerable adult then please discuss this with the DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD (DSL):
Claire Pringle (Interim Deputy Headteacher)
0117 903 0226
or the Deputy DSLs:
Laurie Munroe (Head Teacher) Karen  Cousins (Deputy DSL)

If you think a child is in immediate danger then you should contact the police 999
