Sport Premium

Since September 2013, we have been receiving additional government money to support the delivery of sport. Below you will find our reports on our use of the Sport Premium and how it is impacting already on what we offer in our school.

Anyone who attends our school knows that Sport is a big part of what we do and we see it as a vital part of reaching our aim of encouraging children (and staff / parents) to 'Live healthy and happy lives'.  We have many talented children, lots of children who really try hard and an amazingly capable staff when it comes to teaching physical education.

We have a great range of clubs and teams that take part in competitive activities.  We have great resources to encourage physical development, activity and competition at lunchtimes, led by capable play leaders and sports captains.

We use our additional funding to support the curriculum and staff development through our strong links with Ashton School Sports Partnership.
