Drop off - 8:50 - 9:00 via the front gate and up the ramp. We will meet your children at the door ready to take them into class. Please limit what your children bring in to essentials only (packed lunch, if needed, coat, water bottle, spare clothes).

Our day finishes at 3.20 and pick up is in the same place as drop off. We will only release children to a known adult.

Reception will have PE on Tuesday mornings. On these days children should arrive at school wearing their PE kit.

PE kit consists of black shorts or jogging bottoms, a plain t-shirt in their house colour and plimsoles or trainers. House colours will be confirmed during term 1.

Term 6 : Who lives in a rock pool?

Which creatures live on the sea shore? Why do crabs have shells? We will be exploring these questions and many more in this topic about the sea shore and the plants and animals that live there.

Have a look at the topic overview to see what exciting things we are hoping to cover in term 6.

We are planning a trip by coach, to Clevedon on July 1st so do look out for details that will be coming home soon.

Some lovely stories we will be sharing include Rainbow fish, Lighthouse keepers lunch, Commotion in the ocean, Sharing a shell and Come away from the water, Shirley. Do have a look at these stories with your child at home if you can. We know you will enjoy sharing them together.

Term 3: Can you help me?

Hello and happy 2021 to you all!

The year has begun in a very different way to usual, we know, but we would like you to know we are here if you should need us in any way.

We hope it wont be too long before we can welcome you all back in person but in the meantime do let us know how you are getting on using the Interactive Learning Diary.

Our topic is People who help us, and we will be looking at various job roles within the community including doctors, nurses, police and firefighters. Links and ideas will be posted on ILD.

Best wishes from all the team

Here are some ideas that you might like to try at home whilst your child is not in school, in the range of subject areas followed in Early Years provision. It is not meant as a tick list but some ideas to dip into if you would like to.

Do continue to check on Interactive Learning Diary for daily sessions too.
