As you know, this week we were inspected by Ofsted. Whilst this was expected (as it has been over three years since our last inspection) it is always a bit of a ‘rollercoaster’ from the moment we get the phone call informing us of the inspection. The team were here for a limited time so staff worked incredibly hard to pull together the evidence which showed them why parson Street is so special and how we are raising standards at the school.
Governors and I are not allowed to confirm the judgements made yet until the report is officially released. However, as soon as it is made available we shall share this with our community. Whatever the judgements are, leaders, staff and governors will continue to drive improvement across our school in the way we have been doing so to ensure that this really is the #BestSchoolYearEver. It is not long until children complete end of year assessments so our focus and attention remains on the progress of the children and their happiness and engagement in school life. I would like to take an opportunity to personally thank all of you for your contributions, support and encouragement.
Parson Street is a community and we move this school forwards together. We could not do it without you. However, I would like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful staff & governors here who always work hard but, particularly so, this week. Our children also deserve a special thanks for being simply amazing.
