School Admissions

If you require any support with or have any questions about the admissions process please contact our Parent Support Advisor through the school office who will be pleased to help you.

Admissions to the Reception year are administered through Bristol City Council but in line with our own admissions policy as an academy.  Our policies are available below.  Full details of admissions arrangements can be found by following this link:  www.bristol.gov.uk/page/children-and-young-people/school-admissions

Admissions to our Nursery and In-Year transfers are managed by the school.  You can complete and return the application form below by email to office@parsonstreet.com or by post.  Please contact the office for further information and see the admissions policy below.  Please note that gaining a Nursery place at Parson Street is no guarantee of admission to Reception as this is administered by a different admissions policy.  Pupils are eligible for a place the term after they turn 3 years old if we have space.

Trust in Learning (Academies) is the admissions authority for Parson Street Primary School. This means they are responsible for admissions arrangements in the schools operating in the Trust. There is a consultation about admission arrangements for entry in September 2020 so that it includes:

  • An area of first priority for Orchard School Bristol
  • A change in wording around summer born children

The consultation runs from Monday 10th December 2018 and ends of Thursday 31st January 2018. Responses can be sent, on the form provided, to the school or directly to TiLA.
