This term our topic is People who Help Us. Following the children's interest in pretending to go on a holiday or a journey, we changed our roleplay area into an Airport. The children love making cakes with playdough, so we changed the play dough area into a Bakery, with Harlem selling a cup of tea and a strawberry cake for £40!
We hope you had a great Easter. This term we are reading the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, We are enjoying acting out the story and tasting the fruits that the caterpillar eats. We will also be hatching our own caterpillars!! We are also enjoying going to the Dragon Hall for Write Dance.
Welcome to Term 4, we have an egg-citing term ahead of us!
This term Fernado is looking for children who can look after their friends when they are upset or hurt.
Our story is Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell. Following the children's interests in pets, we have changed our roleplay area into a pet shop. We welcome donations of pet food boxes to play with. We would also love to see photos of your pets, trips to the zoo or wildlife park. If you would like to bring your pet into Nursery please speak to Mrs Stevenson or Mrs Webley.
Meet Fernado our "I Can" parrot who lives in Nursery. During Term 2 he is looking for children who look after our Nursery toys. If he sees children doing this, he will give them one of his special stickers
